100 years of Beta
A hundred years have passed since Alessandro Ciceri opened his workshop for the precision pressing of metals in Erba (Como).
In a century of history the company has grown thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of the Ciceri family, culminating in the foundation of Beta Group, which today relies on the commitment of over 1,000 professionals. The Group’s consolidation has enabled the gradual expansion of the product range and international development, with continuous investments in the modernisation of plants and new production technologies.

In a country where the tool market was mainly import-based, Beta changed the rules of the game by focusing on Italian design and production.

Constant growth
In the last decade Beta Group has undertaken a pathway of growth, completing the acquisition of six manufacturing companies (Beta Utensili S.p.A., 3D Beta S.r.l., VGF S.r.l., BM S.p.A., Abra Beta S.p.A. and Helvi S.p.A.), with 10 plants in Italy. Thanks to this expansion process, the Group has consolidated its leadership in the production of tools for mechanics, industrial maintenance and self-repair specialists, while also developing as a key player in the sector of abrasives, electrical installation and welding products.
